Mediaserver FAQs
Q: I have questions about my account. Who do I contact?
A: You can contact us directly by calling Alex Uvalle at (805) 756-2229.
Or you can email us at mediaserver@calpoly.edu.
Q: How do I get an account to upload files to Mediaserver?
A: If you are a faculty or staff member at Cal Poly, you can request an
account on mediaserver by contacting Alex Uvalle at 6-2229.
Q: How long does it take to get an account on Mediaserver?
A: From the time you request an account, we reserve three full
business days to verify you are really a faculty or staff member and
create the account.
Q: What is a properly encoded video?
A: A properly encoded video is either a Real Media or Quick Time video
that has been optimized for web use. We cannot accept any other types
of videos at this time.
